Historic find in Israel: Crusader sword found after 900 years

A Crusader sword found at the bottom of the sea after 900 years. An Israeli diver, in the waters off the Carmel coast, found the sword which is believed to have belonged to a crusader knight.

The diver, Shlomi Katzin, handed the find over to the authorities. The sword was lying on the seabed at a depth of 140-150 metres. The object needs to be cleaned and thoroughly analysed.
