The new WOW Museum in Zurich impresses with special effects

With the reopening of the Swiss borders, the city of Zurich has opened its doors wide to tourists and invites them not only to its many world-famous museums but also to discover new things that offer original and highly successful experiences, such as the WOW Museum.

Zurich, with its style that blends classic and contemporary, is once again welcoming tourists, offering, in addition to its traditional artistic beauties, new opportunities for entertainment and cultural insights. The brand new WOW Museum – inaugurated on June 15th – is a mix of many elements: a museum that is different from the ordinary, combining fun and learning, located right in the heart of Zurich, just a few steps from Bahnhofstrasse, the famous shopping street, and the city’s main railway station.

On the 3 floors and 400 square meters of the museum, visitors pass through rooms built on special perceptual effects and optical illusions that catapult them into a colorful and distorted world where walls, mirrors and lights confuse vision and senses. Smartphones in hand and this unique museum becomes the perfect location for original shots that will intrigue anyone! In addition to the playful aspect of the experience, the visitor takes a cognitive journey that leads him to question his perception of himself, his image of reality, virtuality and the multiplicity of points of view.

The location and atmosphere of the WOW Museum offer the ideal pretext for rediscovering traditional urban tourism in Zurich and combining it with an entertainment opportunity for young people, adults, groups and families, a way to escape from the forced cloistering of recent months and provide new stimuli for the senses and imagination.

In order to ensure compliance with the rules of social distancing and an adequate experience in the halls, visitors are admitted to the exhibition in limited numbers, with the possibility of advance booking. In addition, the premises of the WOW Museum can be rented as locations for events with a maximum of 100 participants.
