Trinoro and Passopisciaro: from Tuscany to Sicily for successful wines

We will take you, together with a master like Andrea Franchetti, a young, attentive and prepared oenologist, to a forgotten place in the extreme south of Tuscany, where his nose told him that the Bordeaux vines would produce good fruit.

Time and work have proved him right: today his Trinoro is considered one of the best Italian reds.

Encouraged by these magnificent results, Andrea bought some farms on the eastern side of the Etna Volcano, in Sicily. And here too he has created absolute masterpieces under the name of Passopisciaro.

Both projects are distinguished by their extraordinary complexity and the extreme diversity of their terroir. Two young, dynamic and avant-garde wine-growing realities.
