Cori (Latina) Italy – On 24 and 25 May in Cori, Piazza del Tempio d’Ercole will be held the second festival of cooked ham with wine. Tastings, markets, folklore, guided tours, music and dancing

Prosciutto di Cori cooked in wine will be the protagonist of the Second Festival to be held in the town of Lepino on 24 and 25 May in a historical and architectural context of great beauty: Piazza del Tempio d’Ercole. FRIDAY, May 24, at 17:30, the event will be opened by the Flag-wavers of the districts of Cori and the institutional greeting of the Mayor of Cori Mauro De Lillis, the Ass.re all’Agricoltura of the Lazio Region Enrica Onorati, the Ass.re all’Agricoltura of the Municipality of Cori Simonetta Imperia and the councilor in charge of promoting the territory Sabrina Pistilli.

It will be possible to taste Prosciutto di Cori accompanied by wines, bread, cakes and olives by purchasing a ticket with an adjoining glass (tasting fee of 5.00 euros: includes 1 glass with case, 1 tasting of gastronomic products, 1 wine tasting). It will be possible to taste the ham of the companies that have obtained the recognition De. Co.: Le Bontà and F.lli Saccucci, in addition to that produced by the butcher Bernardi. Agnoni, Ortocori and Francesco Lucarelli, the bread of the oven Angela Pistilli and the wines of the cellars Cincinnato, Carpineti, Pietra Pinta and Filippi and of the winery Molino700.

De.Co. products can also be purchased, along with those of other producers: the ham of the company Pietro Trocchi, the famous bread of Cori Alessi, Trifelli, Arciulo, Pietrosanti. Maciste’s pastry shop, Costantino Giordani’s dairy products, Quinto Marafini’s saffron and the Farmers’ Market. On Friday evening the music of the Light Blue Quartet and the duo AmoRdiVino. SATURDAY 25 MAY, in addition to tastings, the day will be animated by pizziche and saltarelli of I Trillanti.
