Inauguration of the exhibition “Viaggi immobili” by Andrea Granchi
Andrea Granchi’s solo exhibition entitled: “Viaggi immobili” opens Saturday, February 9 at 18:00, at the Galleria del Carbone in Ferrara
The exhibition is an anthology that the Gallery dedicates to Andrea Granchi (Florence 1947), former professor of painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Florence and now president of the Painting Class of the Academy of Arts of Drawing. In the exhibition Granchi reveals an art of crossing the boundaries, between real and imaginary between expressive languages and techniques, between the Platonic world of ideas and human creators …. from painting to art cinema, from drawing to three-dimensional artifact, from fresco to work in the form of an artist’s book. For the occasion, a catalogue will be published with critical contributions by Andrea Balzola, Alessandro Vezzosi and Lucia Boni. The exhibition is sponsored by the City of Ferrara, and will remain open until March 3 with the following hours: Wednesday to Friday 17:00-20:00; Saturday and holidays: 11:00-12:30 and 17:00-20:00, closed Monday and Tuesday.
