The Ampezzo structure, just renovated, offers a special weekend, with Spa treatments for couples, aperitif in alcove by the pool and gourmet dinner in the charming restaurant.

Cortina d’Ampezzo, February 2019 – Treat yourself to the most romantic day of the year with an a weekend of wellness, relaxation and taste in the heart of the Dolomites: this is the proposal of the Faloria Mountain Spa Resort. The historic hotel structure, which has just been renovated, presents a new model of hospitality, between evocation of the Dolomite tradition, modernity and comfort.
The Valentine’s weekend at the Faloria Mountain Spa Resort starts with a special
welcome in your room with strawberries, chocolates and prosecco, for a first toast on Lovers’ Day.
The experience continues in the new spa of over 1000 square meters – the largest in the Alps, with its semi-Olympic swimming pool with a direct view of Mount Faloria – the perfect place to spend an unforgettable day for two. Inside a private cabin with private shower, couples can pamper themselves with the exclusive “Love Passion” treatment: a sweet exfoliation with cane sugar and face mask, followed by a couple’s massage. Ideal for sharing moments of pure well-being.
On Valentine’s Day, the Spa offers the unusual candle massage, a highly sensory and regenerating ritual, to be experienced in a magical candlelight atmosphere: vegetable oils and butters glide on the skin, reinforced by the beneficial action of heat. Alternatively, the Faloria method massage: based on marine magnesium oil, bran oil and spirulina rich in vitamin A, allows the body to regain all its energy.
Relaxation continues with an exclusive aperitif in an alcove: intimate and reserved corners with warm walls in larch staves overlooking the 25-metre pool. Here, between one bath and the next, guests can enjoy an aperitif while admiring, through the large skylight and glass wall, the crescent moon that rises on Mount Faloria. From the pool you can also access the garden with a heated vitality pool, to enjoy the view of the stars surrounded by snow. The spa also includes a large sensory area with an ice fountain, sauna and calidarium. The evening continues with dinner at the new Faloria restaurant, housed in a charming glass pavilion with a spectacular view of Mount Croda da Lago on one side and the Olympic trampoline of 1956 on the other. In an elegant and refined environment, guests can enjoy the “Menu of Lovers”, a proposal of dishes specially designed by chef Antonio Cennano, whose fil rouge is the refinement of raw materials: raw scampi, mullet in tempura, foie grais, plin of pigeon, veal fillet with herbs in a sauce of strawberries and lime, followed by a special dessert Valentine’s Day. A dinner that will allow you to make an extraordinary geographical journey through places, traditions and excellence, where every ingredient is a new discovery.
