Dolomites. New look for Tofana – the Arrow in the sky

Italy, Cortina – On 6 December the lifts of Tofana-Freccia nel Cielo open for the winter season 2018-2019, with two completely renovated slopes. The ski paradise is already in full swing this winter in view of the 2021 World Ski Championships in Cortina. In addition to the new products for skiers, the gastronomic offer will also be expanded with the opening of a new wine bar on the slopes created together with the famous Masi winery.

On 8th December, during Cortina Fashion Weekend, the two tracks renewed this summer will be inaugurated: track A (appointment at 9.00 a.m.) and track B (at 9.30 a.m.). The ribbon cutting with the authorities is open to everyone. The participation of ski champions is also foreseen, who will slide on the new slopes. More in detail, slope A, one of the most technical in the Dolomites, has been completely revised and extended to 100 m, suitable for the slalom races in Cortina 2021. The less demanding slope B has been extended to 40 m and has a new track that is also suitable for training skiers before the races. The snow-making systems have also been renewed.

Together with these two flagships, the skiers of this ski area have at their disposal an incredible variety of slopes: from the longest one in Cortina with a skiable difference in height of 1,600m to the Stries slope, a blue panorama that from the mountain allows you to reach Cortina skiing on foot, not to mention the Forcella Rossa slope, a black slope on which many fans are put to the test in a challenge now ten years on those who manage to cover it several times in a day.

There is also a wide choice of routes for lovers of fresh snow sports, who will find Ra Valles the ideal place to experience intoxicating sensations!
