The enchantment of landscape painting. The ‘700 in Venice

36 paintings, which represent the best of Venetian vedutism, on display, free admission, in Milan, for two weeks. An international unicum, an extraordinary opportunity to admire one of the richest, most complete and unpublished collections of the Venetian ‘golden century’.

Milan – Guardi, Canaletto, Carlevarijs, Bellotto, Jacopo and Michele Marieschi. And then James, Fabris, Zanin, Carlo and Giovanni Grubacs, the Master of Langmatt, Richter … are some of the names that make up, with their works, a truly unique overview of the most evocative and extraordinary Venetian vedutismo of the eighteenth century, its views, its games of color, its enchanted atmosphere.

These are works of exceptional interest, which in many cases leave the closed circuit of the ‘good lounges’ for the first time, to open to the public, from November 21 to December 4.

The doors and vaults will be opened by two lovers of the subject, protagonists of the international art scene and market: Ernesto Trivoli, collector and prominent name in the world of international auction houses – whose studio also hosts the exhibition – and Cesare Lampronti, gallery owner who, for years, from the heart of London, has been observing, assimilating and proposing the trends of the art world.

The exhibition is unique at an international level, because it does not invest a single painter, but provides a complex overview that goes from the eighteenth to the nineteenth century with a large number of works.

Masterpieces that narrate the wonder and infinite enchantment of the lagoon city.
