The historic Roman festival “Ottobrata Monticiana” returns

Italy, Rome – From Friday 12 to Sunday 14 October, the streets of the first district of Rome (Monti district) will come back to life with the October after five years of stop. So much has passed since the last edition. This year the festival recovers its initial spirit, that of not losing the memory of popular traditions and identity of one of the most significant district of Rome.

Among the various events, we would like to point out the photographic exhibitions on Monica Vitti and Anna Magnani, the in-depth study of Roman poetry from Augustus to Trilussa, debates on gender-based violence and revelations in honour of Lando Fiorini and Gabriella Ferri.

But above all we invite you to participate in our guided tours TOTALLY FREE by the Art Historian, Dr. Alessandra Rossi.

According to the following program:

Saturday, October 13 at 16:00 guided tour “the female face of Monti” starting from Piazza San Pietro in Vincoli
Sunday, October 14 at 10:00 a.m. guided tour “Il cinema è passato a Monti” with departure from Piazza del Grillo.
At 16.00 guided tour “Tra i vicoli Monticiani” with departure from Piazza Madonna dei monti.

For these guided tours you MUST NOT BOOK but just show up at the time and place indicated
