Italy – High Fashion? Much more. Research, art, history, territoriality and tradition, knowing how to do and do art, handmade, exclusivity in the purest sense of the word, more authentic craftsmanship, interpretation of the personality of women who rely on her. These are the ingredients that distinguish the professionalism of Francesca Fossati, defined fashion design but in our opinion it is definitely reductive. Precisely at this time is making dream the wonderful white Ostuni and its guests, with the presentation of his project / Collection “Ammare” which is held in Palazzo Tanzarella from August 28 to September 2.
A perfect setting for the representation of so much wonder, that Mediterranean flavor that has made the history of the beautiful country, holiday flavor, lightness of spirit, joy, happiness and love. These are the emotions that Francesca offers in her precious collections.
A reason to contaminate also the chaotic Milan fashion week, in fact there will be the presentation of these “jewels” so exclusive from September 20 to September 25 at the  Fatto Ad Arte Gallery in Via Della Moscova 60 in Milan.

The “AMMARE” collection is the result of research into the silhouette of 1950s swimwear. Silks, colors, high fashion embroidery for dresses designed, made and embroidered by Francesca Fossati on exclusive paintings by artist and textile designer Nadia Nava. Six outfits that come to be real evening dresses or “stage costumes” as Francesca likes to call them.

That is not all. It also designs and manufactures a series of accessories that recall the summer atmosphere of those years, such as swimming caps and leather beach balls, sub glitterate fins that become lamps, as well as beautiful boxes in pear wood, real jewels of craftsmanship, to contain sea creams and sunglasses, designed by Fossati and made by master cabinetmaker Luciano Molinari.

To communicate the collection Francesca wanted to take pictures taken by two professionals of different eye and style who have followed the creation of the collection since its inception.

The young Sicilian Federico Cannata was captivated by the Mediterranean atmosphere of the place and the summer residence of Francesca Fossati, while the Milanese Francesco Allegretti relied on his street style through the city of Ostuni.
